Doctrine and Covenants 46:32
32 And ye must give thanks unto God in the Spirit for whatsoever blessing ye are blessed with.
Elder Bruce R. McConkie wrote:
“Spiritual gifts come from God. They are the gifts of God; they originate with Him and are special blessings that He bestows upon those who love Him and keep His commandments. Because they come by the power of the Holy Ghost, they are also called the gifts of the Spirit.”
