“All Things Shall Be Restored to Their Proper and Perfect Frame”
Alma 40:23–24
23 The soul shall be restored to the body, and the body to the soul; yea, and every limb and joint shall be restored to its body; yea, even a hair of the head shall not be lost; but all things shall be restored to their proper and perfect frame.
24 And now, my son, this is the restoration of which has been spoken by the mouths of the prophets . . .
President Joseph F. Smith said:
“Deformity will be removed; defects will be eliminated, and men and women shall attain to the perfection of their spirits, to the perfection that God designed in the beginning. . . . The body will come forth as it is laid to rest. . . . As it is laid down, so will it arise, and changes to perfection will come by the law of restitution.”
