“Be of Good Cheer”
Doctrine and Covenants 61:36
36 And now, verily I say unto you, and what I say unto one I say unto all, be of good cheer, little children; for I am in your midst, and I have not forsaken you . . .
Elder Steven E. Snow said:
“Many of our members across the globe are facing challenges, economic and otherwise. At such times it is easy to feel despondent and forgotten. During the early, difficult days of the Church, the Lord counseled the Saints to be happy: ‘Be of good cheer, little children; for I am in your midst, and I have not forsaken you’ (D&C 61:36).”
