“I Will Order All Things for Your Good, as Fast as Ye Are Able to Receive Them”
Doctrine and Covenants 111:11
11 Therefore, be ye as wise as serpents and yet without sin; and I will order all things for your good, as fast as ye are able to receive them. Amen.
President Wilford Woodruff said:
“We are called upon to work with the Lord just as fast as we are prepared to receive the things of His kingdom [see D&C 111:11]. But I am satisfied there has got to be a great change with us in many respects before we are prepared for the redemption of Zion and the building up of the New Jerusalem [see D&C 84:2–4]. I believe the only way for us is to get enough of the Spirit of God that we may see and understand our duties and comprehend the will of the Lord.”
